If you want great food, spirits, and absolutely the best view in Door County, be sure to dine at the Shoreline Restaurant in northern Door County. Located in Gills Rock at the tip of the Door County peninsula, this restaurant offers a casual dining atmosphere with a menu that can only be compared to world-class restaurants!
Owned and run by Mike and Mary Mead, the Shoreline Restaurant offers a wonderful variety of appetizers, wraps, sandwiches and burgers, and baskets. Their dinner menu will take you to another level altogether as you enjoy superb entrees and a world-class view of Garrett Bay in Gills Rock.
Fresh Door County whitefish highlights the entrees with delectable offerings such as Whitefish on the Rocks, a fresh whitefish fillet broiled and topped with a smooth sour cream and cheddar cheese sauce with fresh lemon juice and a touch of cayenne pepper. Or the Sauteed Five Berry Salmon, lightly seasoned and pan roasted then topped with their five berry butter (raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, cherry, and strawberries). It’s an unbelievable combination! Of course, they have a fantastic variety of chicken and beef, along with mouth-watering nightly specials.
The Shoreline Restaurant opens for the Door County season this Thursday, April 25 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Friday 5:00PM to 9:00PM, Saturday 11:00AM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to 9:00PM, and Sunday 11:00AM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Those hours will remain the same for the first few weeks in May and they will gradually work into full-time the week before Memorial Day weekend.
